White History Month Campaign Centre
Welcome to the official White History Month campaign centre. October of every year has been officially designated as Black History Month. Prime ministers, presidents, politicians, journalists, pop stars and celebrities all line up to give their support for Black History Month. There are exhibitions, websites, events and initiatives in schools, universities, colleges, town halls and city centres all over the world.
British Pride, along with the Youth and Student BNP (YBNP), thinks it is a noble and worthwhile thing having a Black History Month. A specific month where all Black people can celebrate their identity and explore their heritage and show their pride. We would like to see all races and nationalities doing the same thing. It is only with pride and knowledge of who we are and where we came from, that we will all learn to live together in this world.
This is why British Pride, along with the Youth and Student BNP (YBNP), is giving its support to official White History Month, which happens every November. During this month all White people around the world can celebrate their history and heritage with pride. This is our month where we can look to the past and explore who we are and where we come from. It is a month where we can be proud to be White and express it openly. Black History Month was an outstanding success, and we hope that all people will join together once again to celebrate White History Month and make it a success.
Both British Pride and the YBNP are launching a joint nationwide campaign starting on November 1 to raise awareness of, and gain recognition for, White History Month. The campaign is going to be reaching young people and students all over the United Kingdom.
> Over 10,000 leaflets have been printed and will be distributed by YBNP/British Pride activists all over the country in schools, universities and colleges.
> A huge mass-email and letters operation will be launched reaching school headmasters, university deans, student groups, campus unions, scouts and brownie groups, and many more organisations involved with young people.
> Exhibitions will he held across the country in pubs and at the Greater London Assembly, where assembly member Richard Barnbrook will be assisting White History Month in many ways.
> The BNP’s advertising lorry, the Truth Truck, will be touring the length and breadth of Britain meeting activists and campaign teams in towns, cities and universities.
> A large campaign to interlink hundreds of Facebook, Bebo, Myspace and other social networking sites will also be mounted with the assistance of YBNP activists and other young supporters.

10 downing street petition
The official web site of 10 Downing Street has approved the launching of an online petition for the creation of a White History Month in November, reports Mike Howson, BNP National Youth Officer. “We would like to encourage everyone to come out in support of this petition by logging on to the 10 Downing Street web site and adding their names,” Mr Howson said. It is almost up to a thousand signatures already, keep it going!
